Our Social Open Play sessions are perfect for players who know the basics and are ready to enjoy independent play in a relaxed, social atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned player looking for a lively table or a newer player hoping to build confidence and improve your game, you'll find a welcoming seat at Mahjong Mixers. Come with friends or arrive on your own—we'll thoughtfully arrange the tables so everyone has a great game. We'll provide the Mahjong tiles, racks, and mats—all you need to bring is your current NMJL card and your enthusiasm. Please note: Social Open Play is designed for independent play and community connection. These sessions are not formal lessons or instructional classes, so players should have a working knowledge of the American Mahjong rules and be able to play independently.
